Full product description

Do you process patient data? Do you maintain medical records, accept appointment bookings by telephone, provide teleconsultations or work with NFZ? If so, you are subject to strict GDPR requirements and Polish rules on patients’ rights and medical records. Infringements may result in financial penalties of up to EUR 20 million or 4% of annual turnover, as well as civil liability and loss of patients’ trust.

What exactly will you receive after purchase?

✅ GDPR compliance checklist — an editable Word document that helps you work through twelve categories of key control questions, organise your YES/NO answers and identify areas that need attention, completion or further advice.

✅ List of documents to review — divided into seven practical categories; it helps identify potential gaps and organise your documentation. You can complete it independently or with the assistance of a Polish lawyer.

✅ a Guide: how a GDPR inspection is conducted – you will learn:

  • what powers the inspector has,
  • what the inspector may require from you,
  • which documents the controller must provide,
  • what cooperation with the supervisory authority involves.

Why carry out an audit?

There is a genuine risk of penalties and claims, particularly in the healthcare sector

  • The duty to demonstrate GDPR compliance rests with the controller.
  • During an inspection by the competent Polish authority, documentation may need to be produced promptly and the measures in place explained.
  • Health data is a special category of personal data and requires appropriately planned protection.
  • Organised documentation and procedures help demonstrate a diligent approach to compliance duties.

Important: if you choose payment by bank transfer, you will receive the Checklist once your payment has cleared. We send the ready-made files manually within 24 hours, excluding Sundays and statutory public holidays in Poland.

How to interpret the result: The result is based on the answers provided by the person completing the checklist. The checklist does not review documents or the healthcare provider’s actual practices and is neither a legal audit nor confirmation of GDPR compliance. If the result raises questions or the provider operates in an atypical way, an individual review under Polish law may be appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

How and when will I receive the documents and invoice?

We send the ready-made files manually by email within 24 hours after payment has been credited. Sundays and statutory public holidays in Poland do not count towards this period. Saturdays count unless they are statutory public holidays in Poland. The files are not available as an automatic download immediately after payment. Fakturownia sends the invoice automatically, separately from document delivery.

How do I complete the documents?

The templates contain marked fields to complete and guidance. Enter the relevant details in the indicated places, using the explanations in each document.

Can I get help completing the documents or arrange for them to be checked once completed?

Yes, you can ask for help. This product does not include a consultation in the price. We agree additional help with completing documents or a broader review individually, confirming the scope and price before work begins. You can enquire even after buying one unit. For a larger purchase, you can ask about individual terms of engagement.

How many entities does a purchase cover, and what does buying multiple units provide?

One purchased unit of a document or package covers one entity / NIP (Polish tax identification number). You can use two units for two different entities.

Are the documents up to date?

We keep the documents up to date. Before sending them, we also check that the version being supplied is current. You receive templates that reflect the legal position verified before they are delivered.

When do the 12 months of free updates start, and how will I receive them?

For documents purchased in the shop, the free update period starts at the time of purchase. Once a new version is approved, the law firm sends the update to eligible buyers without them having to request it. For bespoke orders outside the shop, the scope and duration of updates are governed by the contract. This does not limit the buyer's statutory rights.
